NEW!

"College Welcome Days" needs YOU!

"College Welcome Days" is the multi-day event for admitted, but not yet enrolled, students and their parents. Each day up to 400 prospective students and families come to UCLA to participate in a campus-wide open house and orientation. We invite our alumni to volunteer as Alumni Ambassadors, to welcome these potential Bruins on their visit to campus, as they decide if UCLA is the right university for them.

During breakfast and registration, Alumni Ambassadors meet with students and their families in an informal and relaxed setting, to talk about their UCLA experiences, offer counsel on succeeding at UCLA and encourage parental confidence in the school.

The time commitment is minimal: from 8:15 to 9 a.m. at Covel Commons. You can participate for as many days as your schedule allows. Parking on campus is free for Alumni Association members and $10 for non-members.
